SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

ECOTRIB 2027 will bring together researchers, experts and industry representatives for three days of scientific exchange, discussion and networking in Ljubljana.

The conference programme will combine plenary, keynote and invited lectures by internationally renowned experts in tribology, oral presentations and poster sessions, complemented by a social programme offering opportunities to meet and connect with colleagues outside the scientific sessions.

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

GUIDED WALKING TOUR OF LJUBLJANA

Before the Welcome Reception at Ljubljana Castle, participants will have the opportunity to join a guided walking tour of Ljubljana, offering a chance to discover the city's history and highlights.

Further details will be announced in due course. Participants wishing to join the tour are kindly asked to indicate their interest in the conference registration form.

WELCOME RECEPTION AT LJUBLJANA CASTLE

Time: 19:30–22:30

The ECOTRIB 2027 Welcome Reception will take place at Ljubljana Castle, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, offering beautiful views over Ljubljana’s historic centre.

Following the first day of scientific sessions, the reception will provide a relaxed and informal atmosphere for participants to meet, reconnect with colleagues, and continue conversations over drinks and refreshments.

GALA DINNER AT CANKARJEV DOM

Venue: Grand Reception Hall, Cankarjev dom
Date: Tuesday, 8 June 2027
Time: 19:30–22:30

The second conference day will conclude with the ECOTRIB 2027 Gala Dinner in the Grand Reception Hall of Cankarjev dom.

The evening will provide an opportunity to enjoy dinner together in a relaxed atmosphere, meet colleagues from across the international tribology community and continue conversations beyond the conference sessions.
