1. Scientific Programme

The final conference programme is now available as a short overview and a full version.

1.1. The scientific programme will cover all areas related to tribology. The most advanced developments and researches performed by world-renowned research groups will be presented as
- keynote lectures,
- invited lectures,
- oral presentations,
- poster presentations.
1.2. Within the ECOTRIB 2017 conference there will be a Panel discussion on micromachining.
1.3. Student competitions
Outstanding student contributions (poster presentations) will be awarded with symbolic financial prize and plaques. PhD students, who will present their work as oral presentation must prepare a poster in order to compete for the Best student contribution award.
2. Social Programme
Participants of the ECOTRIB conference will be able to participate rich social programme composed of several events all included in the conference fee.
- Welcome reception
The welcome reception with fine Slovenian wine and food served in relaxed atmosphere will be held at Ljubljana Castle on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, from 8 pm onwards, as an opportunity to meet old friends and make new contacts.
- Coffee breaks and lunches
Coffee breaks and lunches will be served in lobby in front of the lecture hall in Cankarjev dom.
- Sightseeing tour
Guided city tour to explore beauties of Ljubljana will be held on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at 6:15 pm.
- Gala dinner
The Gala dinner will be held at the National Gallery of Slovenia on Thursday, June 8th, 2017, from 8 pm onwards.
